NEW YORK, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- In the face of growing competitive forces and an uneven global economic recovery, the sixth annual Caribbean Gaming & Hospitality Conference will turn its focus to "Managing for Excellence." The conference, which is scheduled for June 8-9, at the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is the only educational forum for gaming and hospitality businesses operating in the Caribbean and Central and South America.

"Even though the global recovery is uneven, Caribbean-bound travel has stabilized and so has the U.S. economic outlook," says Bruce R. Smith, conference founder and president of WestVille Enterprises, Inc. "So this is the ideal moment to address key marketing and management decisions that can capture new business as well as new discretionary dollars. The foundation that managers lay down today," says Smith, "is going to impact the bottom line for a long time to come."

With the help of top industry consultants and leaders, attendees at this year's Caribbean Gaming and Hospitality Conference will benefit from seminar-based opportunities to evaluate their policies and programs against case history data, new industry research, and the unique input from peer-to-peer networking. "Each speaker and each seminar will give managers another tool to help generate revenues, profits, and overall operating excellence," says Smith.

All sessions will offer simultaneous English-Spanish translation. Exhibits will feature the latest gaming and hospitality equipment as well as information systems and other services.

Ensuring the widest attendance possible, WestVille Enterprises is offering a pre-Early Bird registration discount for attendees who register and pay in full before December 31. Team discount rates are available to companies and government agencies signing up multiple registrants. In addition, the program's efficient, two-day schedule affords attendees valuable seminar and networking time without taking a third day out of their schedules.

"As always, we thank our loyal sponsors who believe in the importance of a conference designed just for the Caribbean gaming and hospitality industry," says Smith. "They know that it's the best place to do business in the region." For the sixth year in a row Aristocrat Technologies Inc., Las Vegas, NV, has returned as the Platinum Sponsor. A.C. Coin & Slot Service Company, Pleasantville, NJ, and UNIDESA Gaming, Barcelona, Spain, are returning Gold Sponsors. Silver Sponsors include Ainsworth Game Technology, Newington, NSW, Australia; CyberView Technology, London; the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, San Juan, PR; VendingData Corporation, Las Vegas, NV; and WMS Gaming, Las Vegas, NV.
