From April through September, the Montreal Expos will play 22 home games at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan. Now, in addition to the many diverse activities Puerto Rico offers - from watersports and pristine beaches, to adventure excursions and exotic dining - travelers can see regular season MLB games in the relaxing tropical paradise of Puerto Rico, the closest U.S. tropical island.

"The Expos games in Puerto Rico extend America's love of the game of baseball to a warm weather destination that Americans love to visit," said Jose M. Suarez, Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. "Catching a baseball game during a visit to Puerto Rico is a great way to enhance an already exciting itinerary, full of diverse activities, with a taste of home.

"This monumental initiative marks the largest number of regular season games ever played outside the continental U.S. and Canada," added Suarez. "The games are generating considerable excitement and pride throughout the island and will allow us to showcase our first-class tourism destination to key markets in North America."
